My name is Brodie Hewson, and I absolutely adore stories. Since I was a young lad, I’ve delved into the wonders and treasures that books have to offer, losing myself in their pages and the magic woven by the authors who brought them to life. Some of those tales have stayed with me, lodged in my memory like old friends, shaping the way I see the world.
I’ve dabbled in writing for a long time, always toying with the idea but never quite committing. Now, I’ve decided to put my money where my mouth is and give it a proper go. The Coreborn is a story that has tickled the edges of my mind for years, and rather than continue down the well-trodden path of self-deprecation and defeatism, I figured – why not write it?
It will inevitably be riddled with clichés and tropes, probably a bit poorly written, and almost certainly in need of a good editor. But hey, I’m learning. And if nothing else, I hope you enjoy being part of the journey with me. Who knows? It might even be passable!
